Delhi State Cancer Institute has been established as a dedicated and autonomous institution under the Government of |

NCT of Delhi for providing comprehensive and integrated facilities for treatment of cancer with latest technology with the motto of “providing care as per convenience of the patients.” |
|
|
|
First phase facilities comprising of day care services and ‘state-of-the-art’ teletherapy with Linear Accelerator has already been |
|
commissioned. |
|
|
|
The Institute has approved plans for further expansion for providing complete facilities for diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancers |
|
under one roof with strong emphasis on academic, R&D and community service programmes consisting of psychosocial, physical, and vocational rehabilitation of the patients. |
|
|
|
All the facilities and services at this Institute are fully networked for instant communication of all the data and images pertaining to |
|
efficient management of patients as well as of the support services/ administrative activities with an aim to establish DSCI as a leading international institution in the field of cancer within the next few years. |
|
|
|
Physical infrastructure for establishing the proposed facilities at the Institute has already been created. Second phase facilities |
|
comprising of indoor services, laboratories, imaging, surgery and ICU facilities etc are proposed to be commissioned by Dec 2007. |
|
|
|
For this purpose, the Institute would be looking forward to some dynamic and dedicated persons with upright credentials who have the |
|
capability to contribute in their respective fields, can take up the challenge, and can work as a cohesive team towards the growth of the Institute. |

The Institute shall welcome such NRI doctors, specialists and researchers in clinical oncology, surgical oncology, basic |
|
sciences and social sciences etc who are willing to return (temporarily or permanently) and have the intention and potential to excel while working at this dedicated Institute back home. |

The Institute shall provide a pragmatic, congenial and unrestricted environment with unlimited opportunities for professional |

growth to those who actively contribute towards patient care and towards overall growth of the Institute as envisaged in its Aims and Objectives. |
